About Dr. Caplin
My passion is helping people with illness heal and lead more empowered lives.
This is hard to do on your own. I know the journey through illness well, having developed Crohn’s disease after my medical training. During that time, I found myself suddenly challenged by compromised energy and stamina, and by the uncertainty of meeting personal and professional expectations. I was lucky to eventually find the support, guidance and tools that helped make a difference for me.
Because of what happened, I chose to combine my knowledge and experience as medical doctor (in Pediatrics and Allergy-Immunology) with a master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology. I’ve had the privilege of guiding lots of people who have struggled with illness. I can help you move forward in many healing ways, to live a better life and thrive.
